Maruti Offers Ignis with Range of Customisation Options

Maruti Suzuki Ignis Customisation 3

Maruti offers Ignis with range of customisation including interior mods, roof wraps, fog lamp bezels and front grille colour strips

Maruti Suzuki has launched the Ignis urban compact model amidst loads of anticipations a few days ago. It is the cheapest product to be sold from Nexa premium dealerships and to justify its presence there, the Indo-Japanese automaker has to have something special up its sleeves.

In the weeks leading up to its launch, it can be perceived that Ignis is not just another Maruti product endorsed with fuel economy and interior space. In fact, elsewhere, it is known as a supermini with funky character and Maruti Suzuki tries to achieve just that in India as well with an added bit of flair and a slew of customisation elements to appeal for young generation buyers.

Some of the fancy styling attributes that can be modified include roof wraps, fog lamp bezels and front grille colour strips. Customers can also be able to personalise interior like colour coordinated door handles, gear lever housing and several other bits through iCreate customisation program. The pictures we posted here do tell you the range in which the roof can be modded based on your preference.

This is the biggest change that Maruti looks to take advantage of over its rivals and it could be looking to sell more of the top-of-the-line variants with customised exterior and of course interior. Additionally, some of the first-for Maruti Suzuki equipment the Ignis boasts are a set of stylish LED projector headlamps and carbon-fibre detailing.

It is the first vehicle that you can book online from Maruti’s stable and it gains standard features like dual airbags and ABS, 15-inch alloy wheels, Nexa safety shield, pre-tensioners, force limiter and Isofix mounts, front and rear impact shield. There is no shortage of upmarket elements like a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment with mirror link, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Mechanical wise, Suzuki’s lightweight platform that also underpins the Baleno has made Ignis it to tip the weighing scale at just 810 kilograms.
