The Indian car market has been held by the shackles of long waiting periods since the health crisis. This comes down to the global supply chain disruption and fast-forward to the year 2023, the effect is still quite prominent. On the flip side, the ever-increasing demand for vehicles, especially the SUV segment contributes to the increased waiting time.
In line with this, we have compiled the waiting period for Maruti Suzuki Nexa cars, so that you can plan your next new car well in time. To begin with, the latest product from the house of Maruti Suzuki, the Invicto commands the highest waiting time of 8-10 months amongst the Nexa cars. However, the home-grown carmaker is not at fault for this as the production of the premium MPV is taken care of by Toyota.
It is followed by the Jimny with a waiting time of 20-24 weeks for all the variants. The XL6 is not too far behind in terms of waiting period and customers will have to book the MPV in advance by up to 18 weeks to get a timely delivery. For Grand Vitara, the waiting period has come down marginally in July as compared to previous months and now it stands in the range of 4 weeks to 20 weeks.

The base Sigma MT smart hybrid variant has the highest waiting time of 18-20 weeks, while for the strong hybrid Zeta+ and Alpha+ variants, it varies in the range of 4-6 weeks. On the other hand, the waiting period for Fronx varies from 4 to 10 weeks depending on the variant you are choosing.
The Delta+ Petrol and Delta+ Turbo have the least waiting time of 4-6 weeks, while the popular Zeta AT Petrol variant has the highest 8-10 weeks of waiting period.
