As per Industry Experts, MSIL could not hold the title for long as Tata Nano launching soon with new diesel engine expected to deliver the mileage above 32 km/l Maruti Celerio diesel will not equipped with an AMT version at the time of launch but expected to get this addition later. Tata Motors is also in planning to launch Nano with diesel engine and AMT gearbox. However, we hope Maruti Suzuki answers consumer’s need soon for a diesel AMT vehicle which fits with there style and in their budget.

Once the Maruti Celerio diesel is ready, it will take on rivals like the Chevrolet Beat diesel and the upcoming Tata Kite Small Hatchback. The Celerio diesel will offer more value as a diesel variant and shape up a position amidst competition in the rising Indian automobile market.
