The Alto is designed to cater the need of commuting in and around city. The Indo-Japanese automaker has introduced its Auto Gear Shift (AGS) technology to the Alto K10 that ensures clutchless comfortable driving experience.
Maruti Suzuki Alto was launched in 2000 and it bears the legacy of the iconic Maruti 800. In just first three years after launch, the small hatchback achieved the feat of 1 lakh units of cumulative sales. During 2016-17, the auto manufacturer exported more than 21,000 units to the overseas markets.

Last year, the automaker updated Alto 800 with subtle design change that helped the brand to enhance its popularity further. Apart from two different engine options Alto is sold in CNG fuel option too that increases its appeal further. The Alto 800 is priced between Rs. 2.47 lakh and Rs. 3.74 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi), while the K10 model comes priced between Rs. 3.27 lakh and Rs. 4.13 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
