Mahindra XUV700 has achieved the one lakh delivery milestone in just under two years since its market launch

Mahindra & Mahindra introduced the XUV700 in August 2021 and it has become one of the most successful SUVs in the brand’s history. The homegrown manufacturer has revealed that it has delivered one lakh units of the XUV700 in the domestic market and it took them only close to two years to achieve this feat.

The Mahindra XUV700 is sold in an expansive range adhering to the needs of a wide range of consumers. The monocoque SUV is currently priced at Rs. 14.01 lakh for the base variant and it goes all the way up to Rs. 26.18 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom) for the range-topping model. The XUV700 has evolutionary good looks compared to the XUV500 and a modern interior.

It measures a length of 4,695 mm, a width of 1,890 mm, and a height of 1,755 mm with a wheelbase length of 2,750 mm and a ground clearance of 200 mm. It is available in five- and seven-seater configurations and derives power from a 2.2L four-cylinder mHawk turbocharged diesel and a 2.0L four-cylinder mStallion turbocharged petrol engine.

In the low-spec trim, the same engine produces 155 PS and 360 Nm.

The gasoline unit kicks out 200 PS maximum power and 380 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed torque converter auto. Mahindra also offers an all-wheel-drive configuration with the XUV700. Mahindra has significantly reduced the waiting period for the XUV700 in recent times.
