Mahindra XUV500 Sportz Limited Edition Launched at Rs. 16.5 Lakh

Mahindra XUV500 Sportz limited edition is based on the W10 trim, comes with several additional styling elements

Mahindra has launched a sportier limited edition of its flagship SUV christened as the XUV500 Sportz, priced at Rs. 16,52,940 (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The new edition comes based on the W10 trim of the regular model and it incorporates several exterior and interior styling elements and appears sportier than the standard XUV500.

The Mahindra XUV500 Sportz gets Red coloured accents around the fog lamp area. The hood also wears sporty decals on it. The ORVMs and side body come featuring similar sporty decal while the door handles and racks have been painted in Red enhancing the appeal further. It gets an S badge on the C pillar giving the SUV a distinctive look.

The limited edition SUV runs on Grey alloy wheels and features red brake calipers as well. Apart from that, the overall design is just the same. It gets aggressive chrome garnished vertically slated front grille, sharp and large headlamps with LED daytime running lights and a muscular front bumper.

At the side profile, it gets flared wheel arches and sharp character line. Rear fascia gets identical design like the standard XUV500. Not only exterior, the interior of the Mahindra XUV500 Sportz edition also receives some additional detailing which includes a S badge on the dashboard.

The SUV offers the same features available in W10 trim that include projector headlamps, touchscreen infotainment system with USB, GP and Bluetooth connectivity, electric sunroof with anti-pinch glass, power adjustable ORVM, etc.

Power source of the potent SUV remains same as the Mahindra XUV500 Sports continues drawing power from a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine. It churns out 140 bhp of peak power at 3,750 rpm and 330 Nm of peak torque between 1,600 rpm and 2,800 rpm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed automatic unit. The automatic variant of the SUV is available at Rs. 17,555,70 (ex-showroom, Mumbai)
