Mahindra XUV500 and KUV100 to get new variants to face challenge from new rivals like Tata Hexa and Maruti Ignis respectively
India’s biggest SUV manufacturer, Mahindra & Mahindra, is preparing to introduce new variants to its two SUVs – XUV500 and the KUV100. The XUV500 is the flagship vehicle from the brand, while the KUV100 comes as the smallest and youngest SUV. The decision of introducing new variants has been taken to tackle new competition from rivals like Maruti Suzuki Ignis in the micro-SUV space and the highly-promising Tata Hexa.
Maruti Suzuki has just launched Ignis and Tata Motors is preparing to enter Hexa into the market in a few days. No wonder the competition becomes intensifying once these two car start selling in the domestic market. In this scenario, Mahindra needs to take the game up for its models like KUV100 and XUV500.
