Mahindra Introduces Luxury Edition Kits for TUV 300

Mahindra didn’t reveal price of these accessories yet and it will be available across the range

Mahindra is offering luxury edition kits for TUV 300 to improve its aesthetics. The Edition 1 Kit comes with faux leather cover for seats and steering wheel, and 6.2 inch touch screen infotainment system with navigation on the interior. The exterior upgrades include reverse parking camera, chrome finish on the mirror, door handle, lower part of the grille and number plate.

The Edition 2 kit include all of these along with head-up display, glossy black finish on the roof with bonnet strips, TUV 300 branded mates and chrome finish on headlamps and tail lamps. Mahindra didn’t reveal price of these accessories yet and it will be available across the range to make TUV 300.

The Indian manufacturer is soon going to introduce a new variant of TUV 300 in India. The new model is named as TUV 300 Plus as the company increased the length to increase space inside the cabin especially for the third row passengers. The TUV 300 Plus will be available with the option of 8 or 9 seat configuration and it will be targeted for fleet customers.

Mahindra is offering TUV 300 Plus with basic features like power steering with tilt adjust, AC with heater, centre lock, 12 V charging point and internally adjustable mirror. The TUV 300 Plus is powered by 2.2 L mHawK engine producing 121 hp of power and 280 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to 5 speed manual gearbox and it is tuned to give more efficiency. The TUV 300 Plus P4 price starts at Rs. 9.46 Lakh (Ex-Showroom).

The standard TUV 300 is powered by 1.5 L turbocharged diesel engine producing 100 hp of power and 240 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to 5 speed manual and AMT gearbox. The TUV 300 comes with lots of features like 7 inch touch screen infotainment system with Android Auto update coming later this year, steering mounted controls, power windows, electrically adjustable mirrors, leather seats and more. Mahindra TUV 300 competes against Ford EcoSport, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and Renault Duster.
