Mahindra is sticking to its promises the company made last year. Mahindra will be launching significantly improved cars from its stable or facelifts of current version. However, there is another possibility and that is equipping cars with the automatic gearbox. Scorpio is the one that gets the automatic gearbox first. The last Scorpio also had an automatic gearbox, but it wasn’t the best in the business. Mahindra has revised the new gearbox and engine and should be much better than before.
Mahindra Scorpio automatic gearbox is 6-speed unit, which is mated to the familiar 2.2 Mhawk engine, which makes 120 BHP of power and 280 Nm of torque. The automatic gearbox is available with both two-wheel drive (rear wheel drive) and four-wheel drive drivetrain. The Mahindra Scorpio automatic gearbox is only available in the top of the line S10 variant. The Mahindra Scorpio Automatic had already seen major re-haul in terms of quality inside and massive leap in dynamics. The Mahindra Scorpio Automatic continues to offer best in class driveability, value for money and spacious option in the segment above and surprisingly below it too.

Mahindra Scorpio Automatic continues to come with several features such as LED daytime running lights, projector lamps, 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic climate control, light and rain sensors as well. Safety wise the Mahindra Scorpio Automatic continutes to get only two airbags as standard on the top-end variant. Prices for the 2WD variant start from 13.13 lakhs and the 4WD variant gets one lakh expensive at 14.13 lakhs. Both prices are ex-showroom Delhi. Mahindra has not declared the mileage the Scorpio will give and other details are also scarce at the moment.
