The first batch of Mahindra Scorpio N comprising 25,000 units is aimed to be delivered by the end of November 2022 in India
Mahindra & Mahindra will commence the deliveries of the new generation Scorpio N from September 26, 2022 onwards. The SUV reached one lakh booking milestone in just half an hour since the reservations opened while the first batch comprising 25,000 units was sold out in just five minutes, underlining the popularity of the model.
The first batch of 25,000 units is aimed to be delivered by the end of November 2022 as the homegrown SUV manufacturer will prioritise the deliveries of the top-spec Z8L variant. The Mahindra Scorpio N is priced between Rs. 11.99 lakh for the base variant and it goes all the way up to Rs. 23.90 lakh (ex-showroom, pan India).
The existing prices for the Mahindra Scorpio N could go up following the completion of deliveries of the first batch. In the first ten days, Mahindra will focus on handing over the keys to 7,000 units of the SUV from September 26 – including that of the range-topping Z8L variant. It is available in a total of seven exterior colour schemes.
The Scorpio N derives power from a 2.0-litre mStallion four-cylinder turbo petrol engine developing a maximum power output of 200 PS and 370 Nm of peak torque when paired with a six-speed manual transmission and 380 Nm when linked to a six-speed torque converter automatic unit as an option.
The 2.2-litre four-cylinder mHawk turbo diesel engine makes 132 PS and 300 Nm of peak torque in its low-spec trim and it is retailed only with a six-speed manual gearbox. The more powerful version kicks out 175 PS and 370 Nm when linked with a six-speed manual transmission and the top-of-the-line trims are hooked with a six-speed AT generating 175 PS and 400 Nm.
Some of the highlighting features in the Mahindra Scorpio N are electric shift-on-fly 4xPlor tech with traction modes, newly designed 18-inch alloy wheels, a 20.32 cm touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, latest AdrenoX and a navigation system, built-in Alexa, a flat-bottom steering wheel with mounted controls, 12-speaker 3D audio, a 17.78 cm instrument cluster with a large MID, six airbags, LED sequential turn indicators and so on.
