Mahindra Mojo ABS spied for the first time is something that we all saw coming. Mahindra told at the launch they were working on a ABS for the Mojo when asked about it. Mahindra Mojo has been well appreciated by the market on the way it looks, rides and performs. Value for money and high quality equipment on board makes the riding experience a lot interesting. The bike spotted here has all the testing equipment strapped on to it as works in progress is clearly visible.

There aren’t any more changes on the bike seen. The ABS rig on both front and rear wheel is clearly visible and it is set to be a dual channel unit. There is also news that the Mojo ABS unit is being sourced from Continental and not Bosch. Continental has also provided ABS unit to other manufacturers such as TVS in the past for their Apache.

ABS is being strapped to the J.Juan disc brakes that company sources from their racing counterpart, which is 4 four piston at the front and 2 piston at the rear. Brakes which offer very good bite and performance. Rear had a habit of locking up quickly as the brakes are too much and ABS should solve that problem.

Braking is one of the best part of the Mojo thanks to superior bite and performance along with Pirelli Diablo Rosso tyres are icing on the cake. ABS should makes thing a lot more easier. Lesser stopping distance, no chances of locking front or rear brakes and it will be enhancement to the package. We expect the launch to happen in the year 2016 and prices will be around 20-25,000 more than the standard version.
