Mahindra is going to launch the much awaited Marazzo MPV on September 3 in India. The company has already released some details of the MPV and now they have officially revealed headlamp design of Marazzo. The twin chamber headlamp of Marazzo comes with projector and LED DRLs along with indicators placed on the lower part of the cluster.
Mahindra took inspiration from shark for the design of Marazzo and it is the first product developed by Mahindra’s North American Technical Centre. Mahindra Research Valley (MRV) also played an important role in the development of new MPV along with Pininfarina.
The company has given chrome finished toothed grille, which gives it an aggressive front stance and the side gets diamond cut alloy wheels. The rear comes with LED tail lamps and overall design of Marazzo is attractive. The interior of Marazzo is finished in dual tone colour as the dashboard gets black colour and beige colour for seats.
Mahindra has given new three spoke multi-function steering wheel for Marazzo and new instrument cluster with a MID screen in the middle to provide important information about the vehicle for driver. The gear lever is integrated into dashboard to liberate more space in the centre console and the MPV is offered in 7 or 8 seat configuration.
The Marazzo is loaded with features like touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, climate control, roof mounted AC, key less entry, push button start, cruise control, rain sensing wipers, automatic headlamps, reverse camera with parking sensors and more.
Mahindra is also offering dual airbags, ABS, EBD and rear parking sensors as standard and we can expect top end variant to come with 6 airbags. The Marazzo is powered by newly developed 1.5 L diesel engine producing 121 bhp of power and 300 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to 6 speed manual gearbox and an automatic model will likely be introduced later.
