Mahindra introduced KUV100 facelift last year and the new model comes with lots of exterior and interior changes to make the micro-SUV feel upmarket. But sales have not been impressive and they are looking to capitalize on festival season rush with new offers to improve sales. The Mahindra KUV100 benefits for September stand at up to Rs. 75,000.

The top end variants of KUV100, which is K6+ and K8 comes with Rs. 40,000 as cash discount, Rs. 30,000 as exchange bonus and Rs. 5000 as corporate discount. The K4 variant is also available with a discount of up to Rs. 60,000, which includes Rs. 26,000 as cash discount, Rs. 30,000 as exchange bonus and Rs. 4,000 as corporate discount.

The base variant K2 comes with Rs. 20,000 as a cash discount, Rs. 30,000 as exchange bonus and Rs. 4,000 as corporate discount, which takes total benefit up to Rs. 54,000. Mahindra is currently working on an automatic variant of KUV100 and it was expected to arrive earlier this year, but the launch has been delayed.

The KUV100 will be equipped with the same AMT transmission from TUV300 and it will be available on both diesel and petrol engines soon. We are expecting Mahindra to offer the automatic transmission option on the top end variant of KUV100 as most of the manufacturers offer it in middle variant to keep pricing down.

The top end variant of KUV100 gets lots of features like touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity, Aux-in and navigation system, 15-inch dual tone alloy wheels, integrated LED DRLs the on headlamp, reverse parking sensors, electronically adjustable outside mirrors with power folding and more.

The petrol model of KUV100 is powered by a 1.2L mFalcon D80 engine with 82 hp and 115 Nm. The 1.2L mFalcon D75 diesel engine puts out 77 hp and 190 Nm. These engines are mated to 5-speed manual gearbox and the KUV100 compete against Maruti Suzuki Ignis in India.
