The KUV100 will be equipped with the same AMT transmission from TUV300 and it will be available on both diesel and petrol engines soon. We are expecting Mahindra to offer the automatic transmission option on the top end variant of KUV100 as most of the manufacturers offer it in middle variant to keep pricing down.

The petrol model of KUV100 is powered by a 1.2L mFalcon D80 engine with 82 hp and 115 Nm. The 1.2L mFalcon D75 diesel engine puts out 77 hp and 190 Nm. These engines are mated to 5-speed manual gearbox and the KUV100 compete against Maruti Suzuki Ignis in India.
