Fiat has launched the Punto Evo Sportivo in India at just 7.1 Lakhs. The car gets new upholstery and the rest of aforementioned things below remain the same. The Punto Evo Sportivo is coming with one diesel engine and that too in the 75 PS tune and no petrol engines are on offer yet. Punto Evo Sportivo should stand apart as it already is a unique car on a street.
Fiat is finally getting aggressive, no matter whatever the way is. Internationally it is getting product strategy ready as if which products are supposed to come to India. Meanwhile, in India it is trying best to sell its limited portfolio. Post Abarth launch, and even before it is trying its best to sell its models. Fiat now, all set in preparing to launch a limited-edition Punto Evo.
The model will be called the Fiat Punto Evo Sportvio. Previously Fiat Linea launched the Elegante version to help customers reach showrooms. Punto Sportivo should be based on the base Active trim and will get added features and cosmetic changes to make it look different from the standard car.
Cosmetic changes on the Fiat Punto Evo Sportvio will include body graphics, a white colored roof, a subtle rear spoiler, new 15-inch alloy wheels, dual tone finishing on the wing mirrors and chrome surrounds for fog lamps. The body kit all around will includes side skirt, front lip spoiler, diffuser.
Interior kit should include a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system that will come with navigation and Bluetooth streaming, for phone and likely music as well. Door sill plates, special seat covers, premium floor mats and rear parking sensors can be added to the list as well, considering the history of the Elegante version.
Fiat launched the hot version of the Punto Evo and Avventura that come with a 1.4-litre T-Jet petrol motor with 140 and 145 BHP motor respectively. This version of the Punto mimicks the Abarth as it set to be sporty. However, it will offered with normal petrol and diesel engines in 90 PS state of tune.
Expect the launch of Fiat Punto Evo Sportvio and the pricing of this version to happen soon as the festive season is around the corner and Fiat wants to make sure customers come to the showroom and lay their hands on something unique.
