Hyundai MPV and Compact SUV will marks Hyundai presence in all categories Hyundai India yesterday launched all new Creta, and moments after that, Hyundai themselves have told about the plans they made for India. Hyundai is being very optimistic with the Creta and says that despite the premium pricing strategy, the Creta will succeed. Sure there are features and quality on board, which the competition not match, but you cannot price the vehicle even higher than let's already overpriced competitors. Hyundai see's a monopoly with quality, hence has made this decision but if Maruti Suzuki S-Cross priced low the it, Creta might loose some good numbers of buyers in India. On top of that, the prices are introductory. So expect the prices go even higher. Hyundai thinks Creta is going to be success story for them so they are planning more products on the same platform. The platform does belong to the Elantra here and the upcoming Hyundai MPV is in the works. Spy shots have surfaced of this Hyundai MPV and its code-named IP. Like any other Hyundai its going to be impressive on design basis The Hyundai MPV is directly going to target the Ertiga and Mobilio and no Innova and Lodgy. Because these two MPV's are hardcore seven seaters for Adults. Meanwhile Ertiga and Mobilio rear seats are strictly for children. The only reason why there are being put in the competition is because they are top-end variants pricing matches to each other. Hyundai MPV will come with 1.4 diesel and 1.4 petrol engines. Creta starts off with an impressive base price, which targets the top-end Ecosport variant, which is more loaded than the base Creta. Hyundai's compact SUV has to better then the nightly impressive Ford Ecosport However, customers need to choose either they want space over features and big SUV for small price and vice versa. The compact SUV will surely be value for money pricing as government incentives will help. Diesel engine is likely to be the 1.4 diesel and petrol engine from the Grand i10 will make it under the bonnet. Expect launch early 2016 and MPV in late 2016.
