The Swift is one of the best selling hatchbacks in the country and it is rare to get discounts on volume models but Maruti Suzuki is offering discounts of upto Rs. 65,100 on Swift specifically for Delhi-NCR and today is the last chance to get this offer. The discount is available on ‘V’ grade with both petrol and diesel models.
The company is offering Rs. 15,000 as cash discount along with Rs. 10,000 as freedom offer, exchange bonus of Rs. 25,000 (0-7 years) or Rs. 15,000 (older than 7 years), Rs. 5,100 as special institutional sales offer and Rs. 10,000 as special exchange bonus (if old model is Swift irrespective of old vehicle ageing), the total benefits on Swift Vdi is Rs. 65,100.
The petrol model comes with cash discount of Rs. 15,000, Rs. 10,000 as freedom offer and Rs. 10,000 as special exchange bonus, which takes the total benefits upto Rs. 35,000. The middle variant of Swift comes with features like music system with CD/MP3 with Bluetooth connectivity, FM/AM radio, power windows and more.
The Swift diesel is powered by 1.3 L DDiS engine producing 74 hp of power at 4,000 rpm and 190 Nm of torque at 2,000. The 1.2 L K-Series petrol engine puts out 81 hp of power at 6,000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm. These engines are mated to 5 speed manual/AMT gearbox.
The new generation Swift is one of the most fuel efficient hatchbacks in its segment as diesel returns 28.4 kmpl and 22 kmpl for petrol model. Maruti also offer dual airbags along with ABS and EBD as standard across all variants. The Swift is based on new Heartect platform.
