KTM has recently launched the RC 125 in India priced at Rs 1.47 lakhs (ex-showroom). This is the Austrian two-wheeler manufacturer’s entry-level RC bike in India. The RC 125 looks identical to the RC 200 and even shares some of its vital components and chassis with the former motorcycle.
1. The bike gets a unique livery
The RC 125 although looks identical to the RC 200 but gets a completely new and unique orange and black livery. This unique paint job definitely will make the RC 125 stand out amongst the rest of the RC motorcycle of the KTM India lineup including the RC200 and the RC 390.
2. The most affordable fully-faired KTM
The KTM RC 125 is priced at Rs. 1.47 Lakhs (ex-showroom) making it the most affordable fully faired KTM motorcycle in India. The motorcycle is positioned in between the Duke 125 and the Duke 200. The RC 125 is costlier by Rs. 17,000 than the entry-level Duke 125 but is almost Rs. 47,000 cheaper than the RC 200.
However, the RC 125 is Rs 7,000 more expensive than its closest rival the Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 in India. Yamaha even offers a more powerful engine, more features and better safety in the form of a dual channel ABS safety system.
3. The Bike is loaded with top spec components
Like we already mentioned above, the recently introduced RC 125 shares most of its components with the RC 200. It shares the strong and lightweight trellis frame, aluminium swingarm, WP upside down forks at the front and a monoshock unit at the rear.
The motorcycle uses a huge 300 mm front disc brake clamped to radically mounted Bybre caliper and a 230 mm disc brake at the rear. A single channel ABS is also offered as standard for the safety of the rider. The wheels are shod with MRF REVZ radial tyres.

The recently launched KTM RC 125 is powered by the same 125cc, liquid-cooled DOHC single-cylinder engine that powers the Duke 125 as well. This unit paired with a 6-speed gearbox produces about 14.5 Bhp of peak power and 12 Nm of peak torque.
