KTM will officially reveal 390 Adventure at 2019 EICMA and it will share some components with 390 Duke to keep cost down

KTM is going to introduce the much awaited new 390 Adventure in India by the end of 2019 and the new bike will be revealed to the public for the first time at the EICMA next year as enthusiasts expected the company to introduce the new Adventure at this years EICMA instead the company took the cover of 790 Adventure.

The 390 Adventure has been spotted in public roads and it continues the same design theme like its big brothers as the company has given vertically placed LED headlamp with a small visor on top, which is placed for aesthetics rather than function. The handlebar is a single piece unit and it is expected to be shared with other KTM Duke models.

The fuel tank design is similar to 790 Adventure and the entry-level adventure model get single piece seat, which is designed for the comfort of both riders. The instrument cluster is fully digital and it comes with Bluetooth connectivity like new generation 390 Duke model, which helps the rider to get lots of information on the cluster.

The rear gets LED tail lamps and the indicators are LEDs. KTM has given upside down forks at the front and the rear gets monoshocks, the suspension travel will be higher and it will help the 390 Adventure to get good ride quality even in broke roads. The company has given spoke wheels with dual purpose Metzeler Tourance tyres.

The Adventure 390 is expected to be powered by same 373.3 cc single-cylinder engine with liquid cooling and fuel injection system producing 44 PS of power and 35 Nm of torque. The gearbox will be a 6 speed unit with gear ratios tuned for touring. The company will offer disc brakes at either end with dual channel ABS as standard.

KTM will also offer lots of advanced safety features like traction control system on 390 Adventure and the new model will be manufactured at Bajaj Chakan plant. The Austrian manufacturer is expected to continue the tradition of aggressive pricing with this new model also and it will compete against BMW G310 GS.
