Kia officially announced the starting of Seltos’ bookings from 16th July 2019 and there are 13 colour options to choose from
Kia Motors officially announced the start of the upcoming Seltos SUV’s bookings from 16th July, 2019. Customers are able to pre-book the SUV on Kia Motors India website and through all the dealerships across the country at an initial amount of Rs. 25,000. Kia, the well-known South-Korean auto brand, also announced the opening of 206 sales points across India where one can go for offline booking.
The world’s 8th largest automaker recently revealed the Seltos at a global premiere in Delhi. Kia will make the Seltos available in two trims – GT Line and Tech Line. Also, the Kia Seltos will be made available in a total of 13 colour options, 8 monotone and 5 dual-tone paint schemes.

The Kia Seltos was showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo as the SP concept and is manufactured at the company’s Andhra Pradesh based facility. Kia Seltos is packed with many segment-first features such as UVO connected technology with 37 smart features, 8.0-inch Head-up display, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated & power-adjustable seats, Bose 8-speaker system, and ambient mood lighting.
Mechanically, the Seltos SUV will come with a choice of three BS6-compliant engines – a 1.5-litre 115 hp diesel engine mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed torque converter; a 1.5-litre petrol engine with 115 hp output offered with a 6-speed manual and CVT options and 140 hp, 1.4-litre turbo-petrol with direct injection GT Line engine mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
Kia Seltos will compete against the likes of Hyundai Creta, Tata Harrier and MG Hector among others. Kia Seltos is expected to get a price range of Rs 11-17 lakh (ex-showroom).
