Kawasaki terminates Palm Beach dealership in Mumbai as it failed to deliver bikes to customers after accepting full payment

India Kawasaki Motors have terminated the Palm Beach showroom in Mumbai as the dealership failed to deliver bikes to the customers. Several complains were raised by the customers, that the dealership accepted full payment, yet didn’t deliver the bikes, which was affecting Kawasaki’s image. Right after that the two wheeler manufacturer decided to terminate the dealership from its network.

The official statement from India Kawasaki Motors also states, that any customer dealing with the SNK Palm Beach will be doing so at their own risk. But even after the official statement from the Japanese company there remain questions. It is still not clear, whether India Kawasaki Motors will take any step to help those customers, who have already paid the full price for their bikes.

Also, what is going to be the fate for those existing Kawasaki owners in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, regarding servicing and maintenance for their bikes. IKM haven’t cleared these issues though, but the company is looking for a new dealer for the Mumbai and Navi Mumbai region, which will replace the SNK Palm Beach dealership. Therefore it can be expected that the existing Kawasaki owners will be able to go to the new dealership for their bike’s servicing and maintenance.

In recent times, a total of 11 customers complained against the SNK Palm Beach dealership for accepting full payment and yet not delivering the bikes. At that time, the owner of the dealership Mr. Satyen Karandikar assured that the bikes will be given to the customers or they will get full refund with interest. Though the issue didn’t solve, which escalated the issue and finally the two wheeler maker was prompted to terminate the SNK Palm Beach dealership from its network.
