The changes on Jeep Compass Night Eagle Edition is limited to aesthetics and it will be powered by the same petrol and diesel engines
Jeep Compass is the best selling models of the company in Europe and the American manufacturer is going to introduce Compass Night Eagle Edition at the Geneva Motor Show in early March. The changes on Night Eagle Edition are limited to aesthetics only as all the mechanicals including the engine are carried over from the regular model.
The Night Eagle Edition comes with gloss black finish on the front grille, fog lights and halogen headlight bezels. The 4×4 and Jeep badges also get the black treatment to give a sporty look. Jeep has also given special Night Eagle Edition to make it stand out from regular models. The new special edition model rides on 19-inch gloss black and diamond cut alloy wheels.
Jeep Compass Night Eagle Edition is finished in Laser Blue colour with a black finish for the roof. The interior doesn’t get major changes and the company has given cloth/techno-leather upholstery. The SUV is packed with lots of features like 8.4-inch Uconnect touch screen infotainment system, rear camera with dynamic grid and rear parking assistance.
The Compass Night Eagle Edition on display in Geneva Motor Show will be powered by the 1.4 L petrol engine and it produces 140 hp of power. The company also introduced a new S variant of Compass and it is going to make its public debut in Geneva along with the Night Eagle Edition. Most of the changes are again limited to aesthetic only.
The grille, badges, 19-inch alloy wheels and roof bars of the Compass S edition model is finished in Low Gloss Granite Crystal accents. The interior is finished in black colour with tungsten stitching and leather-wrapped steering wheel. The centre console gets the same 8.4-inch infotainment system from Night Eagle Edition with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The S edition also comes with eight-way power adjustable driver seat, Adaptive Cruise Control, automatic bi-xenon headlamps, power tailgate and beats audio system. The Compass S edition on display at Geneva will be powered by 2.0 L diesel engine with 170 hp and 9-speed automatic gearbox. The company also offer a 1.6 diesel engine and a 1.4 L petrol engine with Compass S model.
