Jeep Dealership Sacks Staff Over Beating Compass Customer


The Delhi dealership took action after a viral video revealed how a Jeep Compass customer was beaten by the showroom staff

Landmark Jeep showroom in Delhi sacked the staff accused of abusing a Jeep Compass customer. The incident recently came in light when a video went viral and created quite ruckus. Due to the incident Jeep India and the Delhi showroom drew flak from the customers. The American automaker promised necessary action will be taken after investigation and now it has issued a statement saying the offenders have been terminated from job.

As we have reported and posted the video, it showed several showroom staff physically abusing a Jeep Compass customer in the dealership premises. After the video went viral and netizens started criticizing the automaker and the dealership, Landmark Group that owns the showroom issued a statement condemning the incident.

This statement also revealed the reason behind the incident. The dealership revealed that the customer first abused some of the dealership’s staff over delayed delivery of the Compass he booked. Interestingly, the dealership mentioned the customer verbally abused some of its female staff. But, in the video no female staff was visible.

The previous statement from Landmark Jeep dealership also revealed that after the incident this issue was resolved amicably in presence of police. No matter what, the behaviour of the staff was not acceptable and it was enough to damage the brand’s image in the country.

Now, after the accused staff was terminated from job, the dealership has issued a fresh statement that says it has completed the investigation and taken necessary move. It condemned such behaviour and says any improper move against the customers won’t be tolerated.

While this incident involving Landmark Jeep showroom in Delhi could be a learning experience for all the automobile dealerships across the country, customers too should not indulge in abusing the showroom staff in case of any issue of his or her displeasure.
