Jeep Compass Bedrock limited edition is powered by 2.0 L diesel engine producing 173 bhp of power and 350 Nm of torque
Jeep officially launched Compass on July 31, 2017 in India and the American manufacturer has sold over 25,000 units of Compass within a year of launch. The company has exported 8,000 units of Compass to different countries around the world as right hand drive model is manufactured only in India and the company has celebrated one year of manufacturing Compass in Ranjangaon plant on June 1 this year.
To celebrate the success of Compass in India, Jeep officially introduced Bedrock limited edition model at Rs. 17.53 lakh (Ex-Showroom, Delhi). The limited edition model is based on entry level sport variant and the company has given some more features like 16 inch black alloywheels, side step, black roof rails and bedrock decals.

The interior changes include an all black finish with bedrock badging on seats, premium floor mats, 5 inch touch screen infotainment system, reverse camera with dynamic guidance. The Sport variant also comes with features like powered OVRMs, electronic park brake, disc brakes on all four wheels, traction control, ABS, EBD, traction control and dual airbags.
Jeep Compass Bedrock limited edition is powered by 2.0 L diesel engine producing 173 bhp of power and 350 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to 6 speed manual gearbox. The bedrock limited edition is available only in front wheel drive configuration and it comes in three colour options – Vocal White, Minimal Grey and Exotica Red.

Jeep Compass is the model which changed fortunes for FCA in India as the company is finally posting positive result and this impressive market response is giving confidence for American manufacturer to introduce more variants and models in India. The company is soon going to launch Compass Trailhawk edition in India which is focused more towards off-roading.
Initially Compass was available only with diesel engine option then the company introduced petrol engine and soon automatic diesel variant of Compass will make its debut. Jeep will continue the momentum moving forward with launch of Renegade next year and followed by a new compact SUV which is expected to make its global launch in India by 2020-2021.
