Jawa Motorcycles made their re-entry in the Indian two-wheeler market on 15th November 2018 and its almost been one month since they made their presence felt and started online bookings for their motorcycles. Jawa launched two new motorcycles which included the Jawa and the Jawa Forty two. While the Jawa forty two is the entry-level motorcycle from the brand the Jawa, on the other hand, is priced almost nine thousand more than their entry-level offering.

There is no doubt in the fact that Jawa Forty two will appeal more to the younger customers as it is not only less expensive but has a few modern touches compared to the other bike which takes its styling inspiration from the old Jawa motorcycles. Talking about the Jawa Forty two, the motorcycle although gets a Classic styling but few elements like the wide handlebars and the offset instrument cluster add some modern touches to it.

However, we would also have appreciated if Jawa could have also introduced a glossy Black colour option as well with the Forty two as well.

The Jawa Forty two is powered by the same 293 ccs, Single-Cylinder, 4 Stroke, Liquid Cooled, DOHC unit which is capable of producing about 27 Bhp of peak power and 28 Nm of peak torque.
