The new Jaguar XJ 2016 will go on sale in September 2015
Jaguar revealed its Jaguar XJ 2016 . The carmaker ensures the model still holds its stand as the most dynamic, distinctive luxury saloon status. The Jaguar XJ 2016 has both exterior and interior upgrades which harmonize styling and luxury on par with the on-road performance the luxury saloon offers.
At the exterior the new Jaguar XJ will have brand new piece of headlight cluster which comes with full LED headlights and unique double ‘J-Blade signature’ daytime running lights, to add a Black Pack option for subtly enhanced exterior styling.
To entertain the cabin occupants the infotainment system has also gone through several changes including a new InControl Touch Pro infotainment system offers door-to-door navigation, that seamlessly connects iOS and Android technology, Wi-Fi hotspot and 26-speaker, 1,300W Meridian Digital Reference audio system. The dashboard also gets a new 12.3-inch TFT instrument cluster that offers full-screen navigation display with in-built quad-core Intel processor, 60GB solid-state drive.
The technical specification of the Jaguar XJ 2016 gets a power upgrade as well. The 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine now delivers 300HP and reduces CO2 emissions by more than six per cent. The engine now develops 700Nm and accelerates from 0-100km/h in just 5.9 seconds. The new XJ will consist of: XJ Luxury, XJ Premium Luxury, XJ Portfolio, XJ R-Sport, XJR, XJ Autobiography and come with powertrain range of: 300PS 3.0-litre V6 diesel automatic; RWD, 240PS 2.0-litre petrol automatic; RWD, 340PS 3.0-litre V6 petrol automatic; RWD/AWD, 470, 510 and 550PS 5.0-litre V8 petrol automatic; RWD.
As package advanced driver assistance systems including adaptive cruise control with queue-assist, reverse traffic detection, closing vehicle sensing, 360° surround camera system and semi-automated bay- and parallel parking will be available with the new Jaguar XJ.
