Isuzu V-Cross Pickup Mod Looks Like a Monster on Four Wheels

Off-roading culture in India is increasing for quite some time. This is one of the reasons behind the growing demands of SUVs and crossovers. Isuzu launched the V-Cross pickup to lure those buyers who love adventure on four wheels. The V-Cross is the first adventure pickup truck in India and here we found the monstrous Isuzu V-Cross modified by XS Overland customisation shop with several additional accessories.

Up front, it gets a completely new look with sharp headlamps sporting projector units and integrated LED daytime running lights. It also gets chunky Ironman front bumper with bull guard for enhanced protection and a thick skid plate as well. Also, there are two auxiliary lamps up front along with KC Hilites fog lamps and 12,000 pound Warn winch. The customised pickup also comes equipped for water wading.

Moving to the side profile, it gets chunky black 33-inch Cooper ST all terrain wheels giving the vehicle a very aggressive appearance. Apart from that, there are flared wheel arches and the entire double-cab vehicle is painted in black. The customised Isuzu V-Cross pickup sports revised rear bumper as well.

It also gets rock sliders, ARM differentia lockers and extensive underbody protection. The roof gets a spare tyre, traction boards and spotting lamps. The loading deck carries some jerry cans that can contain additional fuel. Overall, the modified Isuzu V-Cross comes with a very bold and appealing look compared to the standard model.

On the powertrain front, the stock Isuzu V-Cross pickup gets a 2.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox and it is capable of churning out 136 bhp of peak power and 320 Nm of peak torque. Power is sent to all the four wheels making it capable of running on treacherous terrains. It is not sure, if the customised model has received powertrain update as well. However, the engine can be re-tuned to deliver up to 400 Nm of peak torque.
