Isuzu D-Max is one of the most popular pick-up trucks in the UK and the company has introduced a new special edition christened as Utah Luxe based on double cab variant. The D-Max Utah Luxe will be limited to just 75 units and the company has made some changes to make the pick-up look aggressive.
The Utah Luxe retains same front bumper, headlamp, grille and hood but the company has added bumper and hood protector finished in dark colour. Isuzu has also given 18 inch diamond cut alloy wheels and pro-lift tailgate assist is standard on this limited edition model, as it reduces tailgate weight by 95 percentage.
The interior continues to be same as customers can choose from five trim levels as regular D-Max. The standard features include projector headlights, LED day time running lights, hill assist, variable hill decent control, central locking, remote control, new audio system and manual AC.
The top end variants come with 9 inch touch screen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, key less entry, shark fine antenna, heated rear windscreen, integrated spoiler, leather seats, front and rear sensors, reverse parking camera, soft pad leather arm rests, blade carpet mats, remote locking rear tailgate and more.
Isuzu D-Max Utah Luxe is powered by 1.9 L turbocharged diesel engine producing 164 PS of power and 360 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to 6 speed manual and automatic transmission. The D-Max truck also comes with 3.5 ton towing capacity along with 1 ton payload and it is available in three new colours – Titanium silver, Splash White and Comic Black Mica.
Isuzu priced the manual variant of D-Max Utah at £26,159 (Rs. 23.09 lakh) and £27,159 (Rs. 23.97 lakh) for automatic model. The special edition model is priced at a premium of £1000 (Rs. 88,271) compared to regular double cab variant. The Japanese manufacturer is expecting the special edition model to improve sales.
