Infiniti QX80 Monograph concept blends luxury with superior level utility; focuses on space and comfort following the QX80

Nissan owned Infiniti all set to unveil its QX80 Monograph concept at the upcoming 2017 New York International Auto Show. The luxury SUV concept bears cue from the QX80 and it blends utility features with premium luxury. The concept previews a car with focus on the space and comfort for the occupants.

The Infiniti QX80 Monograph concept has been designed by the brand’s design studio in Atsugi in Japan. It certainly gives us a hint, how the luxury SUV can evolve to more luxurious and more passenger centric vehicle. Ahead of its official unveiling, the company has released the image of the concept online giving us a clear view. Infiniti claims, that this concept previews the company’s intention to strengthen its position in the full-size luxury SUV segment.

Interestingly, the Infiniti QX80 SUV was developed keeping the space and comfort for the occupants in mind, when it was first launched in 2004. Since then, the full-size luxury SUV has evolved into a very appealing and premium car, but the automaker is thriving for more and the result of its ambition is the all-new QX80 Monograph concept.

In terms of design, the Infiniti QX80 concept appears with similar silhouette as the current QX80 SUV, but the updated design makes it more attractive. The front fascia gets updated and sharper LED headlamps with new LED daytime running lights. The front grille and front looks new with updated design. At the side profile too, the changes are visible through the muscular tone, new alloy wheels.

Speaking about the new concept, the automaker claims that the Infiniti QX80 Monograph reflects the brand’s expertise of exterior design. President of Infiniti Motor Company, Mr. Roland Krueger has said that the concept shows how luxury and style can be blended so perfectly. While the exterior of the SUV incorporates the brand’s signature design language, interior and other details about it remain undisclosed.
