The Indian automotive market is growing at a lightning pace. Recently, India became 4th largest automobile market in the world and is soon expected to further rise in the spot.
With the aggressive competition in the market, a few manufacturers use celebrity endorsements to ensure that their products are visible rightly in the market. Here are ten such celebrities who are currently endorsing the automobile brands in India.
Shahrukh Khan – Hyundai
Hyundai and Shahrukh Khan have been in a long-term relationship. The Bollywood megastar – Shahrukh started endorsing Hyundai India by featuring in the first Hyundai Santro advertisement in 1998. 10 years later, he is still with Hyundai and endorses various cars and campaigns of the South Korean brand. King Khan personally launches a lot of Hyundai vehicles in India, the latest being the Elite i20 during the 2018 Auto Expo.
Hrithik Roshan – Tata Tigor
Tata Motors is playing very aggressive with their marketing. Tata Motors announced Hrithik Roshan as their brand ambassador for the facelifted version of Tata Tigor. Hrithik is not doing automobile advertisement for the first time. He was the face of the Hero Honda Karizma when the motorcycle was in its prime days.
Ranveer Singh – Maruti Suzuki Ciaz
Ranveer Singh is a true car enthusiast and has a range of vehicles in his garage. When it comes to endorsing a brand, Ranveer promotes the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. He has been promoting the mid-size sedan since it first came in the market and continues to do so even after the facelifted version of the Ciaz was launched recently. Ranveer has gifted the pre-facelifted version of the Ciaz and has featured in numerous TV and print commercials.

John Abraham – Nissan India
There is no secret in the fact that John Abraham is a massive car lover. The range of cars in his garage are quite expansive and he owns a few superbikes too. John connects quite easily with the automotive lovers and for the same reason, he was roped in by Nissan India to promote the brand.
John has done various advertisements for Nissan in India including featuring in the advertisements for the Terrano. He also promotes Nissan’s most expensive offering in the Indian market – the GT-R and owns a special edition of the supercar too.

Ranbir Kapoor is the chocolate boy of India and is one of the favourites of many. Ranbir is the brand ambassador for Renault and promotes various cars including the Kwid and the new Captur.
