India bound Skoda Kodiaq leaked ahead of world premiere; it is the flagship SUV of the Czech automaker with global potential

Skoda Kodiaq SUV is one of the few headline makers in the world automobile market which has garnered plenty of attention in last few months. The Czech auto manufacturer displayed the interior of the car in a video released yesterday. And now the exterior of the car has been revealed entirely in some leaked images, right ahead of its global premiere in Berlin.

The new images show the Skoda Kodiaq comes with a muscular and beefy appearance which is blended with the sharp design inspired by the Bohemian glass crystals. The car sports a signature Skoda grille, with vertical slats and chrome garnishing, while the sleek and sharp headlamps come wide looking and sporting integrated LED daytime running lights. The front bumper looks beefy with a wide air intake and horizontal slat running through it.

The side profile bears the same masculinity along with the sharpness. It sports sharp character lines, a bit squarish wheel arches, sporty and aggressive looking alloy wheels, blackened glass area with sleek chrome trim, sporty roof rails. The rear features integrated roof spoiler, sleek delta shaped wrap around taillights, deep cuts and creases enhancing the appeal, while the bumper looks bulky.

Inside the cabin the Skoda Kodiaq features premium features which make the car appealing. The multifunction steering wheel, sleek analog digital combo instrument cluster and dashboard comes taking design cue from the Skoda Superb. The centre console has been redesigned with a different looking touchscreen infotainment system and vertically positioned HVAC vents. The car offers individual infotainment system for every occupant, which certainly comes pretty attractive.

Dimensionally, the car comes 4,700 mm long and 1,880 mm wide, and it is built on the Volkswagen MQB platform. Power sources for the car include three TSI petrol and two TDI diesel engine options, while the transmission options include six speed manual gearbox and a DSG dual clutch gearbox.
