India Bound Nissan Kicks Will Go on Sale from 5th August in Brazil, Priced At Rs. 17.24 Lakh

Brazilian spec Nissan Kicks will get power from 114 hp 1.6 litre flex-fuel engine

India bound Nissan Kicks compact SUV is all set to go on sale in Brazilian market from 5th August. The booking for the car has already begun and the customers can book their Kicks at a price of R$89000, which is equivalent to Rs. 1724960 in India, while the top end trim is priced at R$93500, equivalent to Rs. 1812177. Incidentally, Brazilian market is the first global market where Kicks is going on sell.

The Nissan Kicks Concept was first unveiled at the 2014 Sao Paulo Motor Show, which was inspired by Nissan Extreme Concept from 2012 Sao Paulo Motor Show, and the production variant of the model has been unveiled in Brazil earlier this year in late April. The car has been designed inspired by Brazilian culture and lifestyle. The car boasts an aesthetic build with muscular appearance.

It gets sharp swept back headlamps, integrated LED daytime running lights, Nissan’s signature V motion grille, wide air intake, horizontally positioned fog lights. The side profile boasts muscular and bold appearance with ten spoke alloy wheels, flared wheel arches, thick character lines; but the most interesting feature is the fully floating roofline which is adorned by a orange painted roof making the car very vibrant looking. The rear profile also gets sharp taillamps muscular cuts and creases around the registration enclosure, roof spoiler.

Nissan has developed the interior of the Kicks with an upmarket look which gets multifunction steering wheel, dual analog and a digital display consisting instrument which looks sporty enough, and a touchscreen infotainment system. The interior has been designed in a dual tone theme with black and beige colour.

Power source for the car is a 1.6 litre flex fuel engine, is mated to X-TRONIC CVT gearbox and generates 114 hp of peak power. The engine has been developed keeping the fuel efficiency in mind. Once launched in India, the car will take on the like of Hyundai Creta.
