Hyundai has launched a new Knight Edition for its compact SUV Venue; The price range starts from Rs. 10 lakh (ex-showroom) and it is only available with the petrol powertrain option
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) today launched the Venue Knight Edition in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs. 10 lakh (ex-showroom). This is the second model in the brand’s line-up after the Creta to get the Knight Edition.
The highlight of this special edition is the all-black appeal on the exteriors coupled with the unique brass-coloured inserts. Apart from this, the Knight Edition is only available in select variants of the petrol-powered Venue. Talking about the changes in the Venue Knight Edition, we get an all-black finish for the front grille as well as the Hyundai logo, blacked-out alloy wheels, roof rails, and front and rear skid plates.
Along with this Venue logo at the rear gets the dark chrome treatment and it also gets red brake callipers for a sporty appeal. Adding to the contrast, Hyundai has used brass-coloured inserts on several body parts including the front and rear bumpers, alloy wheels as well as roof rails.

Inside the cabin, the dashboard gets the all-black finish mated to brass inserts and the same treatment is continued to seat upholstery as well. In addition to this, the special edition gets a built-in dashcam with a dual camera, sporty metal pedals, ECM IRVM and 3D designer mats. VENUE Knight Edition is available in four Monotone and one dual-tone colour option including – Abyss Black, Atlas White, Titan Gray, Fiery Red and Fiery Red with Abyss Black.
The Venue Knight Edition is limited to petrol powertrain option which includes the 1.2 l Kappa Petrol engine with Manual Transmission for the S(O) and SX variants and the 1.0 l T-GDi Petrol engine with 6MT and 7DCT for the SX(O) variant.
As for the price is concerned, the range starts from Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the 1.2 petrol S(O) trim while going all the way up to Rs. 13.48 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-spec 1.0 litre SX(O) DCT dual-tone variant.
