Hyundai launched Venue SUV in India from 6.5 Lakh, planning to launch 4 more cars by the year-end

1. Hyundai Kona EV

Hyundai’s first electric car in India is going to be Kona EV and it will be launched on July 9. The upcoming model is likely to be assembled in India to keep pricing aggressive. The Kona EV gets a similar design theme like the Venue as the front gets split headlamp design along with a new bumper.

The company has given LED tail lamps at the rear with a new bumper. The interior design of Kona EV is modern as the centre console comes with a touch screen infotainment system while the instrument cluster is also different from regular models. The Kona EV is expected to be introduced in 39.2 kWh battery pack with 136 PS and 345 km range.

2. New Hyundai Grand i10

Hyundai Grand i10 is one of the best selling models of the company in India and the new model will be introduced later this year in India. The upcoming model gets an evolutionary design theme in which the front retains the signature grille of Hyundai along with changes like new headlamps and revised bumper.

The side gets new alloy wheels with redesigned mirrors while the rear comes with LED tail lamps and a new bumper. The interior is expected to get a new design and the hatchback will be packed with lots of features like touch screen infotainment system, climate control, connectivity features and more. The hatchback is expected to retain the same petrol engine from the current model.

3. Hyundai Elantra Facelift

Hyundai globally introduced a heavily updated model of Elantra and it will be launched in India by the end of this year. The exterior design theme of Elantra facelift model is completely different from the outgoing model as the front get new headlamps with LEDs along with a new bumper and signature grille of the company.

The side retains the same design except for new alloy wheels and the rear gets a new LED tail lamp. The company has also given a new bumper and the interior also get some changes like a new infotainment system and instrument cluster. The Elantra is expected to be powered by the same engines from the current model.

4. Hyundai Tucson Facelift

Hyundai Tucson facelift model is expected to be launched in India in the second half of 2019. The facelift model comes with minor changes compared to the Elantra facelift model. The exterior changes include a tweaked headlamp cluster, updated bumper and new grille while the side gets new alloy wheels.

The rear continues the same design but the tail lamps are new. The interior changes include a new touch screen infotainment system with updated software and it comes with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Tucson is loaded with lots of new features and the SUV is likely to retain the same engines from the earlier model.
