Hyundai Exter will have an interior loaded with features and technologies; will be launched on July 10 in India
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has today officially revealed the features and interior images of the upcoming Exter. The micro SUV will be launched in the domestic market on July 10, 2023 and it will get a host of segment-first features. It will be equipped with an eight-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system with connectivity options.
Moreover, it will be accompanied by an all-digital instrument console with a 4.2-inch coloured TFT multi-info display – a first-in-segment feature as well. The Hyundai Exter will get the latest BlueLink connectivity based features as over 60 different features will be available – making it the most connected SUV in its segment.

The infotainment system comes with in-built navigation and smartphone connectivity with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay interface while the digital cluster enables a host of information related to drive statistics, TPMS (Highline), parking distance, door open, sunroof open, 10 regional and 2 global languages as well as seatbelt reminder display for all seats.
Customers will also get Over-the-air (OTA) updates for infotainment and map. Other highlights are over 90 embedded voice commands that work without the internet, segment-first H2C (Home to Car) Alexa in English and Hindi, multi-language UI support, ambient sounds of nature with 7 acoustic profiles, cruise control and so on.
The Hyundai Exter is a sub-four-metre SUV with a wheelbase length of 2,450 mm and an overall height of 1,631 mm as it is claimed to have the segment-best cabin space. It is said to have seats with optimized height for ease of ingress and egress while floor height has been designed to ensure an easy step-in and step-out according to the brand.
With a large DLO (Day-Light Opening) and rear window glass size, the Hyundai Exter is claimed to have maximized visibility for rear passengers. It also comes with low loading height and rear transverse height for greater usability and convenience of boot space. For enhanced premium nature, the interior gains a sporty semi-leatherette upholstery with ‘Exter’ branding.
