Hyundai Elite i20 Kabali Edition will be launched at a Kochi dealership tomorrow
The release of ‘Super Star’ Rajinikanth starrer Kabali today has literally been a carnival in Tamil Nadu and in fact for his legion of fans around the world. The Tamil gangster movie is expected to pull in excess of Rs. 100 crore within the first three days of its launch. Moreover, it has already been reported to have gained Rs 200 crore in a slew of corporate deals and sale of music and satellite rights.
With 5,000 screenings worldwide, including 400 in the US, the producer is aiming at Rs. 500 crore in the box office. The craze is so much that you could see the stickers, hoardings and wallpapers of the movie everywhere used by corporate giants to leverage their products by utilising Kabali’s popularity. It was wrapped on the roof, side panels, front fascia and rear with the punch lines and movie poses of Rajinikanth. From auto rickshaws, cars and commercial vehicles, the Kabali fascination is beyond words can describe.
Topping them off will be the Hyundai Elite i20 Kabali Edition at a dealership in Kochi. The ‘grand launch’ event as said has been organised for tomorrow morning 10.00 AM at Popular Hyundai Kochi Showroom. AirAsia, the official airline partner, painted its passenger carrier with the Kabali theme.
It was for the fanatics flying to see the movie according to them. Exclusive Kabali recharge packs, hello tunes, internet options and even Kabali branded SIM cards have been sold by mobile companies. The Elite i20 Kabali Edition could become a hot seller considering the obsession showed towards the movie. The price details are not divulged yet but expect a hike of around Rs. 30,000 on the standard model.
