Hyundai Creta Facelift To Come With Wearable Smart Key Band

Hyundai has added some new features on Creta facelift including 6 way power adjustable driver seat, electric sunroof, cruise control and segment-first wireless charging

Hyundai is the king when it comes to feature loaded cars. From small hatchback to premium SUVs, the Korean manufacturer offers class leading features. Hyundai is currently working on an update for Creta as the premium compact SUV is facing stiff competition from new rivals. The features list of Creta facelift leaked online revealing all the details.

Hyundai Creta facelift comes with wearable smart key band which works with a smart phone app called H-Band. The application is already available in playstore with a description – “Combines the intelligent key of Hyundai Creta”. Apart from locking and unlocking, the app can also monitor the number of steps you have taken, distance travelled and calories burned which is similar to what other health apps offer.

Hyundai has also added some new features on Creta facelift which includes 6 way power adjustable driver seat, electric sunroof, cruise control and segment first wireless charging which is only available on some premium luxury sedans. All these features will be available only on the top end variant except sunroof which is also available on SX variant.

Hyundai Creta comes in five variants – E, E+, S, SX and SX (O). The company also introduced two new colours on Creta – Passion Orange and Marina Blue while Earth Brown and Mystic Blue has been discontinued. The Marina Blue colour is already available in Russia but the Passion Orange is a new colour for Creta globally.

Apart from the two new colours Creta is available in five colour options – Black, Silver, Fiery Red, Star Dust and White. Hyundai also increased the size of alloy wheels to 17 inches along with new grille, updated bumper, tweaked tail lamps and shark fin antenna round of the exterior changes.

Hyundai will continue to offer same engine options on facelift model but the smaller 1.4 L petrol engine won’t be available in the new model. The engine options are 1.4 L diesel with 90 PS will be entry level engine then the 1.6 L petrol unit with 123 hp and 1.6 L diesel producing 128 hp. The 1.6 L engine will get the option of manual and automatic gearbox but the 1.4 L engine gets only manual option. The price of Creta will go up slightly over the current model and the launch is expected to take place later this month.
