Hyundai Creta Launch sooner than expected, all set to challenge to make the competition sweat
Just a few days back Hyundai in its all glory decided to finally give the ix25 a name and it was called the Creta. The Creta is coming at a time when the segment is all set to boom with other competitors, which are also few months away from launch and some already have a strong foothold in the segment. Despite it will not dock in sub 4-meter mark, it will compete with the Ford Ecosport given the fact it has been now an expensive proposition to buy the top of the line variant. The face to face rival is the Duster, Terrano and the newly refreshed and popular Mahindra Scorpio. All these SUV now has a good hold in the market and has given what the public always needed, a reliable and entry level SUV.
As per Economic Times, Hyundai Creta launch date is confirmed for 21st July. Hyundai Creta will give best in class features with top notch equipment quality, superior refinement and powerful engines along with automatic gearbox as options. Some of the above mentioned qualities are the weak points of the competition, which Hyundai is all set to face. Post launch and test drive the full picture will be out. Engines are mostly the one from the Verna and they are the 1.6L ones. The automatic gearbox is yet to be decided whether its 4-speed or a 6-speed ones.

The value for money part is crucial and Hyundai has never gone wrong ever since the launched first generation i20. The prices should start around the 9 lakh mark for the base variant petrol with a manual gearbox and top end should reach upto Rs. 13.5 lakh on-road price in Delhi. Hyundai is capable of making 4000 to 5000 units of the Creta. Hyundai bets big on automatic equipped car and expects the 10% of sales to come from there. Creta is an important car for Korean car maker and they expect to raise their market by 3-4% with the sales of this compact SUV.
