Hyundai Creta Facelift For India Spied – Top 5 Things To Know

2022 Hyundai Creta Facelift-8

The 2024 Hyundai Creta Facelift will likely go on sale early next year with a slew of updates inside and out

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) will launch the Exter micro SUV on July 10 and early next year, it will more likely introduce the facelifted Creta with a host of revisions inside and out. The midsize SUV is currently the best-seller in its segment and it will go through cosmetic updates sticking by the latest Sensuous Sportiness design language.

It will also gain a thoroughly updated interior and the equipment list will be more advanced. A brand new engine will also be made available. Hyundai sells the Creta facelift since late 2021 in the international markets but the India-spec model will have notable differences. Here we have explained about the top 5 updates you need to know:

1. New Front Fascia:

Standing in line with the Sensuous Sportiness philosophy, the front fascia takes plenty of inspiration from the Palisade. The prominent split headlamp cluster and new LED DRLs echo that of the Palisade while the redesigned grille section could be accompanied by an updated bumper with wider air intake, a muscular bonnet and a horizontal LED light bar.

2. Revised Rear Profile:

The side profile appears to have gained newly designed alloy wheels with a design similar to that of the Alcazar and the cameras on the ORVMs indicate the presence of an around view camera system. The rear seems to feature all-new LED tail lamp signatures connected by an LED light bar, a tweaked liftgate, a revised bumper, and so on.

3. New Engine:

The 2024 Hyundai Creta will gain a new 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine producing a maximum power output of 160 PS and 253 Nm of peak torque. It will be linked with a six-speed iMT or a seven-speed DCT and could be offered in the N Line specific variant with mechanical updates. The engine will soon debut in the Kia Seltos facelift and is already offered with the new-gen Verna and Alcazar.

4. Updated Interior:

The interior will also get a thorough revision as a new cabin theme, updated dash and centre console, use of more premium surface materials and trims to enhance the premium appeal, new seat upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging pad, etc will be available. Whether the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and the digital cluster will be housed in a single layout or not is yet unknown.

5. New Features List:

The features list will likely comprise a 360-degree camera system and ADAS-based driver-assistive and safety technologies such as adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning and much more.
