Hyundai Creta E+ (E Plus) executive variant is available with 1.4-litre diesel engine alongside previously launched petrol model
Hyundai Creta seen immense success in March 2017 by crossing the 10,000 units sales milestone in one single month for the first time. Now inspired by the success, Hyundai has introduced a new executive E+ (E Plus) with a diesel engine. The new variant is priced at Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi) just like its petrol counterpart and it comes available with a 1.4-litre CRDi engine.
The new variant of the Creta has been introduced keeping the customer feedback and demand in mind. Hyundai also informs that the evolving market dynamics and rising customer aspirations have inspired the brand to provide a wider spectrum of choice for the buyers and enhance their experience. Until now, Creta E+ was available with a 1.6-litre petrol engine only, but a new diesel variant certainly adds more appeal to the car.

In terms of design, the newly introduced E+ variant appears identical to the other variants of the Hyundai Creta. It comes sporting features like electronically adjustable ORVMs with integrated LED turn indicators, 2-DIN audio system, rear AC vents, luggage lamp as standard. On the safety front too, the Creta E+ gets dual airbags and ABS as standard features.
The 1.4-litre CRDi diesel engine under the hood of Hyundai Creta E+ is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and it is capable of churning out 90 PS of peak power at 4,000 rpm and 220 Nm of peak torque generated between 1,500 rpm and 2,750 rpm. It delivers 21.38 kmpl of fuel efficiency.

Creta has proved to be one of the most successful cars in India for the South Korean automaker. The compact SUV sold a total number of 10,001 units in the last month of last financial year. This was the first time Hyundai Creta crossed 10k sales mark in just a single month, since its launch. The car has managed to fetch an impressive sales growth of 23% compared to its sales figure of 8,163 units in March last year.
