Hyundai Creta bookings begins, 10,000 owners ready to buy, battle with S-Cross,Duster intensifies
Hyundai Creta is in the news every single day ever since last one month. Either some pics leaks out or new details surface. Whether its un-official bookings number or else features leak out. This time around Hyundai themselves have sent details that they Creta has received a phenomenal response pre launch itself. The amount of bookings, which is 10,000 units is already done and dusted. Hyundai says this is by far the best response they gathered till date for vehicle sold. Surely, we know love for compact SUV has just begun in India, something which is trending through the Asian continent for a long time now.

That’s not all, 28,500 enquiries have been made about the Creta and as we know some of these customers are also most likely to book the car. Once the car is launched Hyundai Creta bookings are bound to increase and so are the enquiries. However, once the S-Cross which is scheduled for launch after few weeks of the Creta launch will put some pressure on Creta. The pressure could be intense or negligible. Maruti is surely going to under cut the Creta by a subtle margin which should get S-Cross budget conscious customers, despite it’s a premium product segment.
Both cars are specked similarly and have similar diesel engine on option such as the 1.6 diesel. S-Cross does not come with a petrol and Hyundai comes with automatic diesel engine and as well as petrol which should also attract premium buyers considering one more fact that Hyundai already has an upper hand in the premium market thanks to badge power which Maruti does not posses. Maruti surely plans to change all this with the Nexa and is only to be seen how the customers to react to it.
