The New-Gen Hyundai Creta Turbo is offered with 1.4L petrol engine in two variants – SX and SX (O), which are priced at Rs 16.16 lakh and Rs 17.20 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively
The New-Gen Hyundai Creta recently launched with three powertrains, which include a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that makes 115 PS power and 144 Nm torque; a 1.5-litre diesel unit which generates an identical 115 PS power, but 250 Nm torque; and a more powerful 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine that has a maximum power output of 140 PS with a peak torque rating of 242 Nm.
It should be noted that the 1.5-litre NA petrol engine is offered across the entire range, while the 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine can only be had on the top-end SX and SX (O) trims. These not only adjust the car’s engine and transmission settings but also alter the digital speedometer accordingly. The Comfort mode displays a more relaxed speedo with a dark blue colour, while the Eco mode changes the colour to aqua blue. The Sport mode on the other hand, gets a more aggressive appearance with a highlighted dial and red colour.
Additionally, the 2020 Creta also gets three different traction control/terrain modes – Snow, Mud and Sand, which can be pretty useful on tricky roads. Apart from these drive and terrain modes and the 7-inch TFT digital screen for the MID, both the Creta Turbo variants also get twin exhaust tips, and front ventilated seats as standard.
Other features on the top-end SX (O) trim include gets a panoramic sunroof, 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold feature, paddle shifters, an automatic air purifier, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Hyundai BlueLink connected car tech, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.

Hyundai retails the 2020 Creta at a starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh, while The SX Turbo variant has been priced at Rs 16.16 lakh. The range topping SX (O) Turbo trim will set you back by Rs 17.20 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom).
