Hyundai is offering discounts across the range in July 2019 barring the recently launched and well-received Venue
In June 2019, Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) endured 7.3 percent drop in YoY sales continuing the trend of declining volumes over the last several months as the auto industry is facing unfavorable circumstances due to various reasons. The South Korean auto major sold 42,007 units last month as against 45,314 units during the same month last year.
The combined domestic and export volume stood at 58,807 units with YoY deficit of 3.2 per cent. Hyundai is trying everything it can just as every other manufacturer to lure in customers to avoid YoY sales drop and offering a huge deal of discounts across the range consequently.
The Santro hatchback launched late last year gets Rs. 15,000 cash discount and Rs. 20,000 exchange bonus while the top-selling Grand i10 can be had with a total discount of Rs. 90,000 – Rs. 60,000 cash and Rs. 30,000 exchange bonus. This is due to the brand new generation arrive during this festive season as Hyundai looks to clear out the inventories.

Another vehicle waiting to get a major upgrade is the Xcent and is sold with Rs. 60,000 cash discount and Rs. 35,000 exchange bonus. The Elite i20 is retailed with Rs. 20,000 exchange bonus only while the recently introduced Venue does not come under any discount scheme.
The Elantra is the most beneficial for customers as Hyundai is selling it with a massive cash discount of Rs. 1,25,000 and Rs. 75,000 exchange bonus. The executive sedan is due a facelift as well with several exterior and interior changes.
The Verna C-segment sedan is offered with Rs. 30,000 exchange bonus and the range-topping Tucson can be had with Rs. 25,000 cash and Rs. 75,000 exchange bonus.
