The Honda WR-V Alive Edition is based on base S variant, City Edge Edition on SV and BR-V Style Edition available on all variants except base

Honda Cars India has officially launched WR-V, City and BR-V special editions in India. The Honda WR-V Alive Edition is based on entry level S variant, City Edge Edition on SV which is positioned above base variant, and BR-V Style Edition is available on all variants except base. The special edition models are available with petrol and diesel engines.

The Honda WR-V Alive Edition comes with special edition badges, 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheel, rear camera with IRVM display and sensors, premium seat cover with special edition logo, premium steering wheel cover, Honda Connect with one month subscription free. Honda also introduced new radiant red metallic colour on WR-V and it is available in all variants.

The Honda City Edge Edition comes with special edition badges, 15-inch diamond cut alloy wheel, rear camera with IRVM display and sensors. On the other hand, Honda BR-V Style Edition gets front guard, integrated spoiler at rear, body side moulding, special edition badges, front and rear bumper protector. The special editions will certainly help Honda to improve sales during festival season.

All three models are powered by same diesel engine, 1.5 L i-VTEC engine producing 99 bhp of power at 3,600 rpm and 200 Nm of torque at 1,750 rpm. Honda WR-V is powered by 1.2 i-VTEC engine producing 89 bhp of power at 6,000 rpm and 110 Nm of torque at 4,800 rpm. The City and BR-V are powered by 1.5 L i-DTEC engine producing 117 bhp of power at 6,000 rpm and 145 Nm of torque at 4,600 rpm.

The WR-V Alive Edition and City Edge Edition are available only with 5 speed manual transmission but BR-V Style Edition also comes with 5 speed CVT automatic transmission. Honda has managed to take third position from Mahindra in July thanks to the overwhelming response for new generation Amaze.

The Japanese manufacturer sold 19,970 units last month with an impressive 17 percent YoY growth. The Amaze has also sold more than 10,000 units in July, 2018 and it is the first Honda product to achieve this. Honda is going to launch new generation of CR-V and Civic soon in India to further boost sales.
