Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, one of the biggest two-wheeler manufacturers in India has released a new promotional video of its newly introduced version of the popular scooter Activa – the Activa 5G Limited Edition. The TVC details the styling of the 110cc scooter which is available at Rs 55,311 for the STD and Rs 57,176 for DLX versions (both price ex-showroom, Delhi).
The standard Activa 5G, on the other hand, is priced at Rs 54,911 for STD and Rs 56,776 for DLX variant. Highlighting the design, the video puts in focus the new paint schemes of the Activa 5G Limited Edition available in two dual-tone paint themes – Matte Selene Silver Metallic with Pearl Amazing White and Strontium Silver with Black.
The headlight mask, front apron, fender and the body gets the new paint along with a Limited Edition sticker on either side. The apron gets the Black and the Matte Selene Silver Metallic colours on the respective paint themes while there are graphics throughout the bodywork.
The limited edition graphics include stripes, which are visible on the edges of the apron and the front fender. The engine cover on both the colour options is black unlike the standard models, while exhaust heat shield has a chrome treatment.
The changes extend to the inner cover, the footboard region and the seat, all of which have a different finish on the two models. While the Matte Selene Silver Metallic with Pearl Amazing White model gets a brown finish on the inner cover, seat cover and the footboard, the model with Strontium Silver and Black model uses an all-black colour for the same parts.
The Honda 5G Limited Edition is a pure cosmetic job with no changes to the mechanicals as it continues to be powered by the same 109.19 cc air-cooled engine producing 8.11 PS of peak power at 7,500 rpm and 9 Nm of max torque at 5,500 rpm.
The features list on the Activa 5G Limited Edition also remains the same which includes full LED headlight and drum brakes on both wheels with the combined braking system (CBS).
