Hero Motocorp launched the new Pleasure Plus recently in India. The 110cc scooter has received comprehensive updates over its predecessor that includes a revised design and features, new color options, and a powerful 110cc engine. There is no doubt in the fact that it is still one of the most affordable scooters available in India at this moment.
The Hero Pleasure plus compete with some other popular 110cc offerings including the Honda Dio, Honda Activa 5G and the TVS Jupiter. Hero Motocorp has changed the appearance of the scooter completely and as a result, the new Pleasure plus now looks more mature and stylish. The scooter gets a completely new headlamp design that is actually an angular upright shaped unit. This new headlamp has added a mild retro touch to the rather modern looking scooter.
The front apron of the scooter also features a new bow tie like silver plastic cladding that adds a cute face to the model. The side panels of the scooter are also new and get brushed silver highlights. The updated instrument cluster features a new digital display alongside the new analog speedometer. Lastly, it also gets a new and stylish taillamp and also a USB charging slot as well.
The Honda Dio, on the other hand, hasn’t changed much since its launch. The updated model gets a premium LED headlamp and position lamps and some new graphics on the front apron and side panels. It also features a new four-in-one lock with seat opening switch for the convenience of the rider. The top end deluxe variant features a digital instrument panel with three-step “Eco Speed Indicator” and a service reminder as well as gold-finished rims.

The newly launched Hero Motocorp Pleasure Plus is powered by a new 110cc, single-cylinder air-cooled engine. This unit is tuned to produce 8 bhp of peak power and 8.7 Nm of peak torque. The motor is paired with a CVT unit. This powerful 110cc unit replaced the 102cc mill that used to power its predecessor.
The Honda Dio, on the other hand, is powered by the same 110 cc, single cylinder, air cooled engine. This unit produces about 8 bhp of maximum power at 7,000 rpm and 8.9 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a CVT gearbox.

Honda Dio vs Hero Pleasure plus Suspension and Brakes Comparison
The Hero Motocorp Pleasure Plus relies on spring-loaded shocks at either end for its suspension setup. The scooter uses 130mm drum brakes on both ends to bring it to a halt. An Integrated Braking System (IBS) is also offered as standard with the scooter.
The Honda Dio gets a Spring Loaded Hydraulic Type shock absorbers on both ends that promises to offer a stable and comfortable ride.
