There are no mechanical changes made to the limited edition CB Shine except for new graphics and two new dual tone colour scheme

Honda has launched a limited edition CB Shine in India priced at Rs. 59,083 (ex-showroom Delhi). The motorcycle will be sold in limited numbers and features new dual tone colour options: black with red and black with silver. Besides the new colour options, the fuel tank now also gets a dual tone paint finish.

Honda has also added some new graphics around the headlamp area and also towards the side and rear panels. There is no denying the fact that the CB Shine is one of the most popular two-wheelers amongst the 125cc segment and is the second-best selling model in the Honda lineup after the Activa scooter.

Although the limited edition motorcycle has received few cosmetic updates, it is still powered by the same 124.7cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine. This unit produces about 10.1 hp of peak power at 7,500 rpm and 10.3 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm.

The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle relies on a telescopic fork at the front and conventional spring loaded hydraulic setup at the rear. The braking duties are handled by a 130 mm drum brakes at both the front and rear but there is also an option of a 240mm front disc brake available as well with the motorcycle.

Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India Private Limited said customer conviction has made Honda the most trusted two-wheeler brand of India. The Honda Activa scooter and the CB shine are India’s top-selling model in their respective segments.

Honda has sold over 9 lakh units of the CB Shine consistently every year. It was, in fact, the fourth highest selling two-wheeler in India in a financial year. Honda sold over 9.8 lakh units of the 125cc CB Shine in 2018 which also speaks of its popularity.
