Honda India will adopt a new corporate identity in India that includes updating all the existing showrooms and service centres
Honda Cars India has announced that it will adopt a new brand identity in the Indian market. The Japanese car manufacturer will upgrade all the existing showrooms and service centre network in India to offer a better customer experience. Honda currently has over 350 such facilities spread over 239 Indian cities.
It will take three years to upgrade the existing dealer network and the service centre network in the country. The new identity will provide better aesthetics and will increase the overall appeal of the brand in India. Honda also plans to offer a unique buying experience to the customers.
To streamline the workshop management, Honda Cars India will introduce ‘iWorkshop’ digital management system. It will allow the workshops to update the information real-time or gather all the knowledge of any vehicle quickly. It will be handheld tablet-based software that will allow smoother check-in of the cars.
Speaking on the all-new corporate identity, Rajesh Goel, senior vice-president and director, Marketing & Sales, Honda Cars India said,
“The modernisation of our dealer network is part of our effort to provide the highest level of premium retail experience to our customers. Customer experience at our dealership has a lasting impact on their perception towards our brand. All the elements of the new identity have been designed keeping in mind the needs and requirement of modern day customers. We are confident that the new experience at our dealerships will amplify the ‘Joy of Buying’ for all our customers and ‘Joy of Selling’ for our dealership staff, which is at the core of Honda’s philosophy and brand,”
It will also have features like estimates on emails, efficient bay management, re-estimate approval and online payment for pick and drop of the vehicle. Honda’s new corporate identity will bring in new impactful logos and the modern design of the showrooms.
The new identity will help Honda to stand out from the rest of brands in the urban markets. The interiors of the showrooms will be designed to make the customers feel welcomed. They will be entirely clutter-free and have bright lighting in all the corners. The showrooms will also get new furniture and lounges in the showrooms.
