The Honda Urban EV concept previews an upcoming small city car that would be powered by a pure electric zero emission powertrain. On the other hand, the Honda CR-V Hybrid is based on the new generation model. This car takes power from a 2.0-litre I-4 engine coupled with twin electric motors, just like the Honda Accord sedan that is available in the domestic market. The Honda CR-V Hybrid churns out 212 bhp of peak power output.
Interestingly, Honda CR-V Hybrid gets three different driving modes that are EV, Hybrid and Engine. This means the car is capable of running on battery power solely. Expect the Honda CR-V hybrid SUV to be available in Indian market as well, but not before 2019.
