Honda Dio is one of the popular sporty scooters in the country. The Japanese manufacturer introduced a new Deluxe variant of Dio which is placed above the standard model. The overall design continues to be same as the current model. The Dio received a major update in 2015 as the company made the scooter more modern.
The Deluxe variant comes with all LED headlamp with position lamp and the steel wheels are now finished in golden colour. The analog instrument cluster has been replaced by digital cluster and it comes with three stage eco-indicator which is similar to Grazia, this will be soon available across scooter range of Honda.

Honda Dio continues to be powered by 109 cc single cylinder engine producing 8 hp of power at 7,000 rpm and 8.91 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. This engine is mated to CVT gearbox. The engine also gets HET technology for improved efficiency and it is already offered across the scooter range of Honda.

The braking duties are done by 130 mm drum brakes at front and rear as the company don’t offer disc brakes. Honda Dio Deluxe variant is priced at Rs. 53,292 (Ex-Showroom, Delhi) and it is Rs. 2000 more than the regular model. But considering the features list, new model is certainly worth the premium.
