The special edition models have exterior and interior enhancements along with new safety equipment; Amaze sedan gets substantial feature additions
Honda Cars India (HCIL) has announced the launch of special edition versions of three of its popular models in the domestic market – the City sedan, Amaze subcompact sedan and WR-V subcompact SUV. They are dubbed as Honda City 20th Anniversary Edition, Honda Amaze Pride Edition and Honda WR-V Edge Edition.
The Japanese auto major grandly celebrated the City sedan’s two decades of presence in India recently and commemorating the achievement of selling over seven lakh cars within that period, the 20th Anniversary Edition has been introduced. It offers an updated exterior package enhancing the overall appeal of the most sold C-segment sedan in India.
Available in the range-topping ZX variant, it is made available at an ex-showroom Delhi prices of Rs 13,74,532 for Petrol CVT and Rs 13,82,382 for Diesel MT. The additional features include 20th Anniversary Edition Emblem, Front Bumper Center & Side Garnish, Door Lower Garnish and Trunk End Molding along with Honda Connect with 1 month free subscription.
On the other hand, the Amaze Pride Edition comes fitted with a slew of new features including an infotainment system and is sold in the S(O) variant at an ex-showroom Delhi prices of Rs 6,29,900 for Petrol and Rs 7,83,486 for Diesel for the MT grade. It comprises of 17.7cm Infotainment with Audio, Video and Navigation System, Pride Edition Premium Seat Covers, Front Centre Arm Rest, Steering Wheel Cover, Door Edge Garnish, Pride Edition Emblem and Rear Parking Sensors.
The Honda WR-V has become an instant hit since it went on sale in March 2017 and is one of the top-selling subcompact SUVs in India. The new special edition with interior and exterior add-ons is expected to boost the sales further. The Honda WR-V ‘Edge Edition’ is based on the S grade and is available at an ex-showroom Delhi prices of Rs 8,01,017 for Petrol MT and Rs 9,04,683 for Diesel MT.
For improved styling quotient, it comes equipped with 16-inch Gunmetal Finish Multi-Spoke Alloy Wheels and Special Edition ‘Edge Emblem’. As for safety, there are several new features included such as Rear Camera with IRVM Display, Rear Parking Sensors and Honda Connect with 1 month free subscription.
